Getting to Verbier - the majority of transfers to Verbier are from Geneva airport.

From Geneva airport, the train to Verbier takes about 3 hours. Driving to Verbier is usually a little under 2 hours. You can take a shared transfer or a private transfer or taxi for exclusive treatment.

Winter in Verbier, Switzerland:

Verbier is a famous ski resort, so it stands to reason that in winter you can go skiing, snowboarding, ski touring, and cross-country skiing. There's even heli-skiing.

Because of Verbier's high mountains, you can also go mountaineering and ice climbing. Or, stick to lower alpine terrain and go snowshoeing.

You may need a mountain guide, a ski school, or a private ski instructor.

Summer activities in Verbier:

There's so much to do in Verbier in the summer.

You can go sightseeing (on the ground) or see the sights by air by going paragliding.

Verbier is one part of Switzerland's largest and most popular ski area: the 4 Valleys. There is just so much to ski.

Set on a hill top, south facing, this lively ski resort basks in the sun and offers lots of activities for skiers and non-skiers. You can come for the skiing, the mountains, and/or the nightlife. A traditional chalet style village with sports shops, restaurants, bars and cafés, Verbier has a range of accommodation and regularly attracts the rich and famous.

Close to Geneva airport (2 hours), Verbier is also accessible for weekend ski trips.
Skiing and Snowboarding in Verbier is just about as good as it gets. There is just so much terrain you will not get bored if you stay a week or longer.

Although there is beginner and intermediate terrain, the resort is particularly attractive to advanced skiers.

There's everything from nursery slopes and cruisy intermediate pistes to steeps and moguls and enough lift accessible backcountry terrain to keep the experienced off-piste skier coming back for more.
