• The Area - Chamonix Valley

The Chamonix Valley is situated high in the Haute Savoie region of France, close to the borders of Switzerland and Italy. Shadowed by the peaks of the Mont Blanc and the Chamonix Aiguilles, it's one of the most spectacular and exciting places.

Skiing in Chamonix consists of five separate ski areas covered by one ski pass giving unlimited access to north and south facing slopes, nursery slopes, off-piste... something for everyone.

    Grands Montets,
the ski area closest to Argentiére, dominates the horizon. High access lifts and north facing slopes enable skiing from December to May. Everything from green runs to off-piste on the glacier.

Le Tour offers the best area for families and beginners. Its gentle summer pastures turn into cruising pistes in the wintertime with a backdrop of the entire valley.

Brévent and Flégére two linked areas giving a variety of terrain for all abilities, great restaurants and sun terraces to view the amazing panorama of the Mont Blanc Massif.

Aiguille du Midi one of Europes highest cable cars giving access to the Valley Blanche and many other incredible off-piste excursions.
